Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno has noted that Nigeria will continue to be united in spite of its many challenges.
He revealed this on Saturday in Ibadan during a courtesy visit to his Oyo State counterpart, Gov. Sheyi Makinde.
“We used to walk freely across the length and breadth of the city of Ibadan, Saki and Oyo and we should not allow sentiments to destroy this very important culture of the great people of Ibadan.
“We will continue to stay together, live in peace and harmony for the betterment of Nigeria,’’ he stressed.
Responding, Gov. Makinde said;
“We want to encourage you and to let you know that we are praying for you. By God’s grace, you will succeed. As leaders, we only need to pull together to defeat the problems in the country.
“We also want to acknowledge the work that you are doing in your state, especially on the issue of insecurity,’’ he said.
