On behalf of common sense and decency, I want to apologise to #Arewa women for the deeply disrespectful comment attributed to #VDM . To suggest that Northern women are “silent” or defined by anyone’s personal claims is false, insulting, and unacceptable. Arewa women are known for dignity, strength, intelligence, values, and self-respect — not as props in anyone’s reckless commentary. Silence is not consent. Privacy is not weakness. And no woman’s worth is defined by another person’s mouth. That statement does not represent Nigerian men, Nigerian values, or the respect our women deserve.
